2019 Harlem Wizards - On November 1, the BHEF hosted the 7th Annual Harlem Wizards vs. all-star teams of teachers from Coman Hill, Wampus and H.C. Crittenden.Proceeds from this SOLD OUT event benefit grants for innovative programs and equipment for students throughout all Byram Hills schools.

2019 Outdoor Movie Night - On September 20, the BHEF screened The Secret Life of Pets 2 for the Byram Hills community. Approximately 500 people signed up to watch the movie on the Wampus field.  Proceeds from this event benefit grants for innovative programs and equipment for students throughout all Byram Hills schools.

2018 Harlem Wizards - On September 21, the BHEF hosted the 6th Annual Harlem Wizards vs. all-star teams of teachers from Coman Hill, Wampus and H.C. Crittenden. Proceeds from this SOLD OUT event benefit grants for innovative programs and equipment for students throughout all Byram Hills schools.

2017 Harlem Wizards - On September 15, the BHEF hosted the 5th Annual Harlem Wizards vs. all-star teams of teachers from Coman Hill, Wampus and H.C. Crittenden. Proceeds from this SOLD OUT event benefit grants for innovative programs and equipment for students throughout all Byram Hills schools.

 

2017 BHEFestival - On Friday, March 31 the BHEFestival marked the 23rd annual fundraising benefit at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY, honor retiring Byram Hills administrators Dr. William Donohue, Superintendent, and Dr. H. Evan Powderly, Principal, H.C. Crittenden Middle School. More than 300 parents, teachers, administrators and community leaders came out to support educational initiatives for the Byram Hills Central School District. The evening featured performances by Group Therapy, School of Rock and Exit 5.

 

2016 Harlem Wizards - On Friday, September 23, the BHEF hosted the 4th Annual Harlem Wizards vs. all-star teams of teachers from Coman Hill, Wampus and H.C. Crittenden. Proceeds from this SOLD OUT event benefit grants for innovative programs and equipment for students throughout all Byram Hills schools. 

 

2016 Spring Gala - On Friday, May 13 the BHEF Rocked The Capitol at its 22nd annual fundraising benefit at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. More than 300 parents, teachers, administrators and community leaders came out to support educational initiatives for the Byram Hills Central School District. The evening featured a concert by Tramps Like Us, an interactive auction and Giving Guitar in support of BHEF grants. Special thanks to Pinsky Studio Fine Photography, recipient of the 2016 BHEF Business Partnership Award, for providing photos of the event.

More than 300 parents, teachers, administrators and community leaders came out to support educational initiatives for the Byram Hills Central School District. The evening featured an interactive auction and Giving Tree in support of BHEF grants. 2013 Spring Gala – "The Future is Now" - On Friday, May 31, the BHEF hosted its 19th annual fundraising benefit at Brynwood Golf & Country Club in Armonk, NY. Thanks to more than 400 parents, teachers, administrators and community leaders for coming out to support educational initiatives for the Byram Hills Central School District. The evening featured an interactive auction, raffle for diamond hoop earrings, a performance by the BHHS Jazz Ensemble and much more. Special thanks to Diana Gould Ltd. and Pinsky Studio Fine Photography for their in-kind support, making the evening especially beautiful and memorable.
 

2012 Spring Gala – "Top of the Town" - On Friday, May 11, 2012, the Byram Hills Education Foundation hosted its 18th annual fundraising event at 42, The Restaurant in White Plains. Nearly 400 parents, teachers, administrators and community leaders came together to celebrate and support education in the Byram Hills Central School District. The night featured live and silent auctions, a raffle for a diamond pendant necklace, performance by the BHHS Jazz Ensemble, a video about BHEF grants, plus great music, dancing and even karaoke! The evening also included special presentations to retiring Superintendent, Dr. Jacquelyn Taylor, as well as to David Yale, Founder of the Debra Leipman Yale Memorial Fund. 

The BHEF wishes to thank all the families, businesses and community partners who supported the 2012 Gala, and send special appreciation to Diana Gould Ltd. for donating the exquisite décor for the evening, as well as Pinsky Studio Fine Photography for capturing the memories of the night.

Family Movie Night - On November 10, 2011, the BHEF presented FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT at Coman Hill. Over 50 families came out to enjoy pizza, snacks and a movie played on advanced multi-media equipment donated by the Byram Hills Education Foundation. Special thanks to Principal Carol Fisher and staff at Coman Hill for helping with this fun-filled night.

2011 Spring Gala - "A Magical Night at the Oasis" - Honors Byram Hills School District for 50 years of education excellence.

On May 13, 2011, the Byram Hills Education Foundation hosted its 17th annual fundraising event at the Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY. The event, which honored the Byram Hills School District on 50 years of education excellence, was an enormous success, attracting nearly 300 attendees and other business supporters.

 

The magical evening included silent and live auctions, a Chanel Bag raffle, music from the High School Jazz Ensemble, demonstrations of recent Foundation grants, interaction between teachers and parents, and a video display of many previously funded BHEF grants. Thank you to all who attended.

 

BHEF wishes to thank Diana Gould Ltd for generously donating decor and other resources for the evening, as well as Pinsky Studio for donating photographic services.

 

2010 Spring Gala – “Spring Forward… Let’s Grow Together” - On April 30, 2010 the Byram Hills Education Foundation hosted our 16th annual fundraising event at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester in White Plains. The event was an enormous success, attracting more than 300 supporters.

The beautiful evening included silent and live auctions, an ipad raffle, music from the High School Jazz Ensemble, demonstrations from the Robotics Club and of SMART Tables™, interaction between teachers and parents, and a video display of many of the previously funded BHEF grants. Thank you to all who attended.

2010 Go for the Green – 2nd Annual Golf Outing - On Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Tamarack Country Club, Greenwich, CT, the BHEF held its second annual golf outing. Cash and other prizes were awarded for various competitions, including the hole-in-one contest and a million-dollar shootout putting contest. The event raised over $10,000.

2009 “Speedway Spectacular” raises more than $150,000 - On April 29, 2009 the Byram Hills Education Foundation hosted our 15th annual fundraising event, “Speedway Spectacular,” at Grand Prix New York in Mount Kisco. The event was an enormous success, attracting 300 supporters. In this time of economic uncertainty, support of our children’s education is even more important. The approval in April for funding more than $245,000 in grants for the coming school year added to the celebratory mood of the evening. BHEF has now funded $2.5 million in grants since its inception in 1994.

The evening included friendly competition on the racetrack, at the silent auction tables, and for the Mercedes convertible, music from the High School Jazz Ensemble, interaction between teachers and parents, and a video display of many of the previously funded BHEF grants. Thank you to all who attended.

Hole-in-One Competition a huge success! - On June 8, 2009 the BHEF held its first annual Hole-in-One Competition at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, CT. We had 50 participants and the event raised $12,000. There was much friendly competition and a good time was had by all. We offer hearty congratulations to our winners.
